Terms & Agreements


Inflatables, jumpers, moonwalks, bounce houses, are used interchangeably to describe our products.


Terms and Agreements are between Magic Jump Rentals, Inc., herein referred to as "MJR", and Customer.


Reservation Length:   All reservations are for an 8 hour period. Deliveries are made between 8 am and your desired delivery time and pickups are made from your desired pickup time up to 3 hours after. We strive to be on time for all customers, therefore we require a window time of 1-3 hours for Delivery and Pickup. Our drivers make their best effort to accommodate your desired delivery and pickup times, but because of traffic and unexpected events, the times are Not Guaranteed.

Delivery:   Delivery times should be arranged about 1-2 hours before the start of your event. The person who made the reservation or who made payment must be present during the time of delivery to sign for the rented products. The customer is required to check the rented unit and all tie downs before the driver leaves because there is No Guarantee that the driver can return before Pickup Time. Due to supply chain shortages and a limited supply of drivers, some orders may be delivered later than anticipated. Please notify us when there is an event start time to help us prioritize delivery routes.

Pickup:   Pickups will begin from your requested time, and not before, but can range up to 3 hours after (since drivers have more than one order, they may be delayed). Customers will be responsible for any fees associated with Airbnb, short-term rental properties, custodian overtime fees, staff, or building service personnel costs needed to allow drivers access to rented products.

Setup:   Inflatables can be set up on grass, concrete, or asphalt. A $100 cleaning fee applies for each inflatable to be set up on Sand or Dirt. Customer MUST notify Magic Jump Rentals during reservation if setup will be on Sand or Dirt. Hills or slight inclines in the setup area should be a maximum of 5 degrees. Gates and walkways have to be a minimum of 3.5 feet wide for all inflatables and 5 feet wide for Millennium Falcon, Dunk Tanks, Mechanical Bull, and Mechanical Surfboard.

Steps (or Stairs):   Customer MUST inform Magic Jump Rentals of any steps (or stairs) present to the setup area. A maximum of 10 steps allowed for rental of any product, no steps allowed for the Millennium Falcon, Dunk Tank, Mechanical Bull, or Mechanical Surfboard. If steps surpass the maximum allowed there will either be a Delivery Fee applied or a reservation will be canceled and a cancellation fee will be applied.

Water Slides, Slip n Slides, Dunk Tanks:   Water products require a regular garden water hose (not provided by Magic Jump Rentals) within range of the setup area. Water Slides DO NOT come with any mats or cushions to be placed under the pool area for when users slide down. If a customer wishes to place mats for extra cushion, they need to provide it during the delivery time to the driver. Water should be turned off when the water product is not being used. Inflatable water slides are not engineered to flow water like waterparks. Water pressure needs to be low to function properly AND prevent flooding in backyards.

Use of water slides; other than the 12-foot, or 15-foot tropical pool splashes into a residential/commercial underground, or above-ground chlorine, or saltwater, pools are not allowed. Improper use may result in additional fees. MJR Inc is not liable for damages/injury from improper use of our rented products resulting from customer/guests relocating rental products after the initial install, and/or water damage from water slide drainage/run-off.

NOTE:   If the driver is not able to set up the unit because of the customer's negligence to inform of any steps, suitable surface, or access requirements then Magic Jump Rentals will have to cancel the order as "Undeliverable" and a delivery/cancellation fee will be charged.


The customer must make sure the setup area is ready (i.e. lawns mowed, vehicles/obstacles out of the way, animal feces removed, setup location cleared) before the driver is scheduled to arrive. If the setup area is not ready or accessible when the driver arrives, or if rented products cannot be moved directly to the area (extra handling involved) the customer may be charged an additional delivery fee. If the setup area is not prepared, the driver might be forced to leave and/or reschedule your delivery at a later time, in which case a delivery fee will be applied.

MJR is not responsible for damages, alterations, or cosmetic changes to surface areas caused by our rented products setup for any amount of time. Inflatables may ruin grass or turf. If there is a concern about the setup area being damaged or altered, please choose a cement setup area as a setup location.

Underground Utilities:   The customer assumes responsibility for any damage to underground utilities, landscaping, water lines resulting from product setup. MJR Inc does not assume responsibility for utilities damaged by installation. Please be ready to inform the driver of the existence of any underground utilities (i.e. sprinkler systems, phone lines, gas lines, septic system, etc.), that may interfere with the ability to stake and/or anchor products. It is recommended you contact DIG ALERT at 8-1-1 or 800-422-4133 before our arrival to be informed of any underground utilities in your area. Magic Jump Rentals will not be liable for damages to private or city/county property if the customer, or person coordinating on behalf of the customer, does not notify the driver where to or not to anchor the rented products.


Deposit:   A deposit of 50% may be required for all orders. Payments are processed in full to the card on file 3 to 5 days prior to the delivery date or no later than 7 days for rentals on/around holidays.

Credit Card:   All major credit cards are accepted. To pay by credit card Magic Jump Rentals must have your credit card information on file before the event date, Drivers do not take credit card payments.

Business Check:   Magic Jump Rentals must receive customers' business checks at least 3 days before the reservation date. Checks will not be accepted during the delivery time. Exceptions may be given to existing Business accounts, City events coordinators, School/Camps, or Church/Synagogues/Temples. A Credit Card or Bank Debit Card may be required to be on file for certain check orders prior to delivery. All returned checks will be charged a $30.00 fee. We do not accept personal checks.

Cash:   Customers are allowed to pay COD (Cash On Delivery) for the balance due. A 50% deposit must be made at the time of booking by way of a Credit Card or Bank Debit Card on file. If a customer cancels their reservation within 72 hours of the reservation date, a cancellation fee may be applied to the deposits for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders. The COD (Cash On Delivery) option is not available for rentals at private or public parks.


If customer decides to cancel their reservation, they must do so at least 72 HOURS (3 days) before their reservation date. If customer cancels their reservation within the 72 hours of the reservation date, a cancellation fee may be applied. If customer cannot get a hold of Magic Jump Rentals representatives, or has called after business hours, it is still the customers responsibility to leave a message in the company's messaging system about canceling their reservation.

Changes to order:   If the customer changes their order at the end of their rental period, or at the pickup time/window, to overnight or wants additional day(s), we will charge the customer the initial delivery/service fees and/or additional rental fees, as well as the new delivery/service fees for the extension of the rental period. Rental fees will be applied for when these extensions result in an upcoming customer's order being canceled/refunded. Please make changes to your order prior to the pickup time/window.


In case of rain or severe weather conditions (high winds exceeding 20mph) forecasted during your rental date, the customer is allowed to cancel by 2pm the day before without any cancellation fee (also pertains to forecasts with probabilities of rain or high winds greater than 50% of likelihood). Customers MUST CALL and cancel by 2pm on the day before their rental date (voicemail and emails before 2pm are ok for cancellation). If the customer cancels the order, it will be canceled for the rest of the rental period with no guarantee that MJR can deliver if weather conditions get better.

If the customer decides to go ahead with the order even though the weather forecast says it will rain, but it is not actually raining at the time, then we will go ahead and deliver the order. However, if it does start to rain during the rental time, MJR reserves the right to cancel the order, due to safety concerns, with NO refund provided.

During rain/inclement weather, it is unsafe to play inside the inflatables, therefore we do cancel orders during rainy/inclement weather days. However, since people do have events and parties that are planned weeks or months before, or may take place indoors, we give customers the option to deliver the order or cancel it.

It is the customer's responsibility to call MJR to cancel their order or go through with it during these rain/inclement weather days before 2pm the day before. If the customer decides to cancel an order once the MJR driver has already arrived at their location then MJR reserves the right to charge the customer a cancellation fee for not contacting before delivery time and for the labor intensive work that the drivers do to load and drive out to the delivery location.


NOTE:   Customer must be present at the park at least 1-2 hours before the delivery time.

Permits:   Customers are required to obtain a permit from parks that require one before reserving an inflatable from Magic Jump Rentals. If a permit is required but customer did not obtain it or falsified information to Magic Jump Rentals, park officials may require the inflatable to be removed immediately, in which case there will be no refund. All permits must be emailed to us at permits@magicjumprentals.com before your event date.

Insurance:   Magic Jump Rentals has full liability insurance and delivers to all city parks that allow inflatables. City parks require the applicant to acquire additional insurance from Magic Jump Rentals in order to list the city and all its officers as undersigned in the insurance policy. Customer should reserve inflatables approximately 3-4 days before the event date to allow time for processing the required documents with the park.

Electricity:   A minimum 4000-watt generator is required for all inflatables going to a park unless the park facility provides electricity and customer has ensured there will be a dedicated 15 AMP circuit available. Please contact Magic Jump Rentals to make sure you reserve the correct amount of generators.

Water Products:   Water products are usually not allowed at a park since a dedicated water supply and water hose are required, something that parks do not provide for their guests. For more information on park orders go to: https://www.magicjumprentals.com/pages/parks.


Electricity Outlets:   Electricity outlets must be capable of providing a dedicated minimum of 15 Amps for each inflatable. Make sure the electric outlet you intend to use is equipped with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI, most new electric outlets are). Please check all electricity outlets you plan to use for Magic Jump Rentals products to ensure there will be an adequate supply of electricity. Insufficient electricity can create major problems during the course of the rental period (i.e. setup delays, constant deflation, circuit outages), therefore, we urge all customers to make preparations and examine electricity outlets to make sure they will provide sufficient electricity.

Extension Cords:   Please be ready to provide extension cords to drivers if the setup location is further than 20 feet away from the electric outlet you plan to use. Magic Jump Rentals does not provide extension cords unless the customer adds the items to the rental order prior to delivery. Our drivers may carry extra extension cords, but it is not guaranteed that they will have one available. Any extension cords used must be 3-prong cord that is UL and CE approved and no less than 14/3 gauge. Magic Jump Rentals is not responsible for faulty/shorted circuit breakers, or power outlets, malfunctions, and damages caused by the use of our equipment including generators, electric blowers, extension cords, and powered rental products. Customers can contact Magic Jump Rentals with any questions, prior to delivery, if there are power concerns.

Generators:   Generators rented through MJR typically last up to 6 hours with the gas provided, additional hours will require additional gas to be purchased.


Mostly all concession machines (except for Popcorn Machine w/Cart) are tabletop machines and DO NOT come with a table/stand. Customer needs to provide a table or stand. All concession machines come with the accessories needed to make 100 servings. NOTE:   Snow Cone Machine does not include ice cubes and should be provided by the customer (can be purchased from any supermarket). It is recommended to have about 50-60 pounds of cubed ice for every 100 servings. Hot Dog Machine does not include hot dogs or buns.


Customer is responsible for supervising the safety and conduct of all people using Magic Jump Rentals products. There MUST be a responsible and mature adult supervising the operation of the products AT ALL TIMES! Safety of all people using products is the responsibility of the person supervising. All products come with safety rules (usually located on the front of the unit) which need to be read and understood by any and all people supervising. Participants inside the units SHOULD NOT, AT ANY TIME, be allowed to do anything that is/are prohibited by the safety rules. Blatant disregard for the safety rules may result in physical injuries and/or additional fees; including any food, silly string, or items not allowed. A fee of up to $100.00 may be applied for products returned with any food, silly string, dish soap, or prohibited items found inside. A cleaning fee of up to $100.00 will be applied for "dry slide or dry inflatable" rental products returned wet and/or muddy inside. A $100.00 cleaning/damage fee will be applied to any water slide inflatable, not including the 12-foot and 15-foot Tropical pool splashes, submerged or used for sliding into any pool resulting in Chlorine, or saltwater, which will compromise the internal/external stitching. Note: Damage waivers do not cover improper use of rented products.


All third-party members who are reserving units from MJR must first be approved by MJRs' representatives. Please contact MJR at (800) 873-8989 to receive the third-party member application and to submit it in due time. Third party members include anyone who places the reservation and who will not be present on the day of the event.


When reserving online, customer is given 15 minutes to proceed with checkout, otherwise order will be canceled once time expires to clear product availability for another customer. Order will not be confirmed unless customer goes through the checkout process and a deposit for 10% is processed. Once the deposit is processed a confirmation email will be automatically sent to confirm the rental.

NOTE:   Customers placing orders within 24 hours of the delivery time MUST call MJR offices at (800) 873-8989 to confirm rental since it is last minute. This confirmation call is required to have product prepared for rental and have driver assigned for delivery. Order may be cancelled if customer does not speak to anyone at MJR within the last 24 hours. It is advised to rent over the phone at (800) 873-8989 for last minute orders.


Renter agrees to hold FULL responsibility in ensuring safe operation of MJR equipment, to follow any safety rules posted on Product(s) and/or verbally given, and to supervise the Product(s) rented and any and all participants. Renter understands and acknowledges that any activity in connection to Product(s) brings both known and unanticipated risks that could result in property damage, physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death or other damage or injury to participants. Those risks include but are not limited to falling, slipping, crashing and colliding. Renter understands such risks cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity. Renter agrees to release, forever discharge and hold harmless MJR, including its officers, employees, subcontractors and/or agents from any injury, damages or claims that result from Renter negligence including any injuries, claims or damages asserted by Renters guests, invitees or third parties. Renter agrees to report any damage, injury or claim to MJR within five (5) days of the reservation date; failure to do so will result in negligence from Renter and release of any liability or responsibility from MJR. Further, Renter agrees not to hold MJR, including its officers, employees, subcontractors and/or agents liable or accountable for any costs arising out of or in connection to attorney's fees and/or claims brought up in court involving the use of any Product(s). Renter shall indemnify and hold harmless MJR, its employees, executives and agents from and against any and all damages, liabilities, claims, costs, expenses, attorney's fees, etc. incurred by Renter directly or indirectly, in connection with the rental of Product(s) due to negligence of MJR.


The parties agree to mediate any dispute or claim arising between them out of this Agreement, or any resulting transaction, before resorting to arbitration. Mediation can be commenced by one party demanding it of the other. Mediation fees, if any, shall be divided equally among the parties. If any party commences an action without first attempting to resolve the matter through mediation, or refuses to mediate within 30 days after a request has been made, then that party shall not be entitled to recover attorney's fees, even if they would otherwise be available to that party in any such action. Any controversy or claim remaining unresolved after mediation shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Any party filing a complaint in a court of law which is ruled to be properly venued in arbitration may, at the discretion of the arbitrator, owe the other party for any attorneys fees incurred for moving it properly to arbitration.
